Narmadeshwar Shivling is found only on this land in the river Narmada. This is the self-sacrificing Shivling. In it, the Nirguna, the formless Brahma Lord Shiva is himself reputed. Narmadeshwar Linga is considered as self-conscious like sex trash, it does not require prana-prestige. Narmadeshwar Shivling is called Vaingling because Banasur had been honored by Mahadevji with austerity that he would always be seen in Amarkantak mountain on the lineup. Narmada river flows through this mountain with which the stones flow through the mountain, hence they are considered as Shiva Shiva and they are called ‘Banning’ and ‘Narmadeshwar’.
